Masterplan

The development in and around the Rijnhaven is ongoing, and the outlines of how the Rotterdam Rijnhaven is shaping a new section of the city center are becoming visible. In March 2020, the Municipality of Rotterdam released the Rijnhaven Masterplan.

The Rijnhaven Masterplan contains the most important principles for the development of the Rijnhaven. The Masterplan is a road map to a definitive plan. Some steps have been taken for other parts of the plan, environmental studies, an urban plan and a landscape plan are required before proceeding.

More information about the Masterplan can be found on the Municipality of Rotterdam website.
